About the role

A Pharmacy Technician - Strategic Response Team (SRT) contributes to AHF by demonstrating the competencies of a Level II Technician as described in the Scope of Practice and Responsibilities found in the AHF Pharmacy Policy, Procedure and Training manual, in addition to the specifics of the job classification below.

The Pharmacy Technician - SRT enhances the reputation of AHF by remaining sensitive to the “stigma” of PLWH and associated comorbidities, understanding the difficulty of treating chronic diseases, barriers to care, and the importance of patients’ needs to maintain anonymity and privacy. You will be a passionate advocate for our top initiatives. To be successful in this role, it is crucial to ensure that the AHF core Values and Mission stay top of mind in all that you do.

AHF operates in a dynamic environment, adapting quickly to provide the best experience for clients and a positive workplace for employees. The organization has a collaborative structure where staff are accountable to multiple leaders. The Pharmacy Technician - SRT will work as part of a close-knit team to establish and maintain good working relationships with healthcare providers, staff, and referral sources to facilitate the exchange of patient demographics and medication treatment plans.

Requirements

• State license in the state of application (required)
• Four or more state licenses (highly preferred)
• PTCB certification (highly preferred)
• IMZ certification (highly preferred)
• CPR certification (highly preferred)
