Pharmacy Technician Ambulatory - Neuro Expansion

Responsibilities

• Supports daily workflow and operational efficiency
• Assists with prescription processing and patient service
• Ensures high-quality patient care
• Collaborates closely with clinical and operational leaders across Neurology
• Supports onboarding, training, and team development initiatives

Requirements

• Minimum qualifications: High school diploma or GED, CPhT through PTCB or NHA, active registration through OBOP as Certified Pharmacy Technician, Registered Pharmacy Technician, or Pharmacy Technician Trainee
• Preferred qualifications: Formal pharmacy technician training program completion, hospital experience, prior management experience
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, reach, stretch, stoop, sit for prolonged times, manual dexterity, ability to lift up to 20 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National HealthCareer Association (NHA)
• Active registration through the Ohio Board of Pharmacy (OBOP) as either a Certified Pharmacy Technician, Registered Pharmacy Technician, or Pharmacy Technician Trainee
• Required to update registration to Certified Pharmacy Technician within 6 months of hire

Skills

• Ability to perform job tasks while standing, reaching, stretching, stooping, and sitting for prolonged times
• Manual dexterity sufficient to perform computer, dispensing functions of the job
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. while walking, stooping, bending and reaching

Pay

Pay Range Minimum hourly: $21.50
Maximum hourly: $31.00

Schedule

8 hour shifts Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:45am - 6:15pm
Holiday requirements occur every 5 years
Weekend requirements occur 1-2 weekends per quarter
