Pharmacy Technician - Accredo - Orlando, FL

About the role

Accredo Specialty Pharmacy, a division of Evernorth Health Services a part of The Cigna Group, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join their team. The role is based in Orlando, FL and involves processing, dispensing, and shipping specialty prescriptions to patients.

Responsibilities

• Select and retrieve appropriate quantities of medication and prepare corresponding labels.
• Use problem-solving skills to assist patients in maintaining their health.
• Work with a team to ensure timely delivery of medications.
• Collaborate with pharmacists to fill prescriptions accurately and meet quality standards.
• Prepare and pack medication orders for shipment.
• Handle packaging materials and affix shipping labels.
• Clean equipment and restock supplies.
• Aid in deliveries, inventory management, and handling incoming calls.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Florida Pharmacy Technician license
• 1+ years of relevant work experience as a Pharmacy Technician (preferred)
• Basic math skills and general PC knowledge
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Fulfillment experience a plus

Physical Requirements

• Sit and/or stand for lengthy periods.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and 20 lbs. frequently.
• Perform repetitive motions with fingers, hands, and arms.
• Work in confined areas close to machinery.
• Work in an environment with varying levels of noise.
