Pharmacy Technician-3rd shift
Job Responsibilities
- Medications Orders - Prepares unit dose for cartfill and first doses. Performs non-sterile, non-hazard dose preparation for first fill or cartfill including oral syringe preparation from liquid dosage forms. Delivers patient-specific doses.
- Compounding - Compounds non-sterile, non-hazardous medications.
- Phone Triage - Performs outpatient pharmacy phone triage.
- Medical Claims - Performs insurance adjudication.
- Inventories Management - Inspects medication storage, interacts with pharmacy automated dispensing machines and hospital computer systems as necessary.
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Active registration with the OH Board of Pharmacy.
- PTCB certified and OH Board of Pharmacy certified within 18 months of hire.
- ExCPT acceptable certification to meet minimum requirements.
- ASHP accredited program graduate OR licensed as a Pharmacy Intern OR 6 months of pharmacy related experience.
