Pharmacy Tech II

Responsibilities

• Affords assistance in the total prescription filling process.
• Involves data entry, inventory monitoring, counting, labeling, ordering, stocking, filing, and selling of prescribed and OTC products.
• Engages in OTC merchandising, assisting health care providers and patients in person and by phone.
• Answers questions and requests from health care providers and patients, referring to the pharmacist when necessary.
• Ensures compliance with state and federal drug laws, Kettering Health Network (KHN) policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician certification.
• Two years of retail pharmacy technician experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
