Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Aid pharmacists by performing routine duties.
- Maintain patient profiles and other records.
- Handle intra- and inter-departmental requisitions.
- Package and label medications.
- Prepare medications under supervision.
- Deliver medications.
- Clean and maintain the Pharmacy environment and equipment.
- Operate drug dispensing, packaging, and preparation machinery/equipment.
- Answer and handle telephone calls to the pharmacy.
- Complete appropriate documentation.
- Train and orient staff.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/G.E.D.
- Functional mathematics skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Good customer service skills.
- Good work practices.
- Able to work efficiently and accurately in a dynamic and complex environment.
- Self-initiating.
