Pharmacy Tech - Evening Shift

About the role

The position is responsible for assisting pharmacists and pharmacy personnel in various aspects of hospital pharmacy, including medication preparation, dispensing, and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, dispense, and deliver medications for inpatients and outpatients
• Charge medications, fill Pyxis™ Medstations, credit and redistribute returns
• Assist in maintaining inventory levels within the department
• Prepare, dispense, and deliver parental solutions for inpatients and outpatients
• Deliver IVs to nursing units, recycle IV products, process IV returns, and batch IV’s and syringes as backup stock
• Maintain workflow in the IV room

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certified Pharmacy Technician in good standing
• Pennsylvania Registration
• Preferred: Hospital experience
• Preferred: Experience with Pyxis
