Pharmacy Tech - Chemo & Sterile Compounding

About the role

Our pharmacy team at Northside Hospital Atlanta is seeking a Pharmacy Tech to join our Chemo & Sterile Compounding department. This position is responsible for preparing and dispensing medications under the supervision of a pharmacist.

Responsibilities

• Prepares sterile and non-sterile compounded medications according to physician orders and compounding protocols.
• Ensures accurate and timely medication preparation and distribution.
• Monitors inventory levels and reports shortages to management.
• Follows all safety procedures and maintains a clean and organized work environment.
• Communicates effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical compounding practices and regulations.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy.

Pay
