Responsibilities
- Prepares and dispenses medications to patients and patient care areas under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Identifies, prepares, packages, labels, and delivers medications, including sterile products.
Requirements
- Obtain Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration by June 28, 2026.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
- General Experience in an accredited hospital pharmacy technician training program or equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Skills
- Knowledge of pharmaceuticals and medication preparation techniques.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and procedures.
