Pharmacy Tech- King of Prussia Rotating shifts - Monday through Friday (8am to 4:30pm, 8:30 to 5pm, and 11:30pm to 8pm) Position Overview Our client is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support medication preparation, packaging, inventory management, and distribution in a hospital pharmacy. This individual will work closely with pharmacists to ensure medications are accurately prepared, documented, and delivered safely to patient care areas while maintaining compliance with all pharmacy regulations and hospital procedures. Key Responsibilities Prepare and package medications accurately for inpatient use under pharmacist supervisionCompound non-sterile medications in accordance with USP 795 guidelinesLabel, store, and distribute medications to patient care unitsRestock automated dispensing cabinets (Pyxis) and other medication storage areasMaintain medication inventory, including expiration date monitoring and stock rotationAssist with controlled substance inventory, documentation, and secure storageComplete required pharmacy documentation and maintain accurate recordsPerform medication inspections and quality checksFollow all hospital, state, and federal pharmacy regulations and safety standardsParticipate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and departmental training Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GEDActive Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Trainee registrationBasic computer skillsStrong math and medication calculation skillsAbility to work accurately in a fast-paced hospital environmentCandidates should be detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to patient safety Preferred Qualifications Pharmacy Technician certificate or technical diplomaPrevious hospital pharmacy experienceExperience with medication compounding and automated dispensing systems (Pyxis)Experience working with medication inventory and controlled substances is a plus By providing your phone number, you consent to: (1) receive automated text messages and calls from the Judge Group, Inc. and its affiliates (collectively "Judge") to such phone number regarding job opportunities, your job application, and for other related purposes.
