Job Requirements

• High School graduate or GED
• 2+ years’ previous hospital pharmacy technician experience (inclusive of training programs)
• Completion of sterile compounding training/competency (as required by State BOP)
• Active Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy, if required by state of employment
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT)
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care

Qualifications

• Must be able to participate as a member of a team with reliability and punctuality
• Maintain competency in the compounding of sterile IV medications
