Pharmacy Support Representative - Mail Order/Closed Pharmacy

As an administrative support representative within GEM Edwards Pharmacy, a division of GEMCORE Health, you are a recognized and valued employee with a voice to make a difference. Working hard during the week at GEM Edwards Pharmacy allows you to have every evening and weekend to yourself.

This position is located in Hudson, OH. Hours of operation are 8:15am - 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. No weekends, no nights, no holidays. Ongoing training and development with growth opportunities and potential for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Reception of incoming calls and placement of outbound calls, routing to the appropriate individual, if needed.
• Administrative responsibilities associated with the practice of the pharmacy.
• Obtain and data entry of insurance, physician, and patient demographic information.
• Processing third-party billing information for reimbursement.
• Work collaboratively with all other departments; including accounting, contracts & licensing, shipping, etc.
• Filing and other general office tasks.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and computer skills with the desire to communicate with customers and prospects a majority of each workday.
• Effective at retaining and disseminating health insurance plan information.
• Ideally 1-2 years of experience in a customer service position.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced multi-tasked environment.
• Word processing skill of 40 WPM.
• Knowledge of PioneerRx helpful.
• Pharmacy experience helpful but not necessary.
• Light lifting of up to 25 pounds.
