About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated part-time or PRN Pharmacist with an interest in transitioning to full-time in the near future. This role offers flexible hours within the pharmacy’s operating schedule of 8:15 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and is located in Hudson, OH. Ongoing training and development, as well as growth opportunities with potential for advancement, are provided.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the responsible use of medications and all aspects of pharmacy operations while maintaining compliance with regulatory agencies and state boards of pharmacy.
- Maintain policies and procedures for the procurement, storage, and dispensing of drugs.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Oversee, track, and implement new Standard Operating Procedures to meet current and updated accreditation standards (ACHC, URAC, NABP).
Requirements
- Graduate of an ACPE-accredited College or School of Pharmacy with a BS Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
- Active and unrestricted Ohio Pharmacist License in good standing.
- Additional state pharmacist licenses highly preferred but not required.
- Working knowledge of third-party adjudication and resolution.
- Understanding of related accreditation and performance standards.
- Ability to communicate effectively in a multi-discipline environment across all business units.
- Excellent telephone, customer service, and computer skills with a professional and courteous demeanor.
