Pharmacy Supervisor - Day Shift
About the role
Interprets and evaluates physician orders in order to prepare and dispense appropriate medications to patients at Holy Cross Hospital. Manages drug therapy of patients. Reviews, accesses and maintains patient medication records and profiles for allergies, drug interactions and therapeutic duplication to provide a consistent quality of patient care and appropriate drug therapy. Provides information to physicians, nurses, and patients. Demonstrates efforts to improve patient satisfaction, lower costs and improve quality. Assists with scheduling and the implementation of decisions from the Pharmacy and Therapeutics committee. Supervises the pharmacy staff in distributive functions and departmental operations.

Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy.
- MD Pharmacist License.
- Able to work cooperatively with hospital and pharmacy staff in order to meet departmental objectives.
- Must be able to handle frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload and work schedule.

Pay
$61.51 - $95.37 USD Hourly Pay is based on experience, skills and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
Schedule
40hrs/wk, day shifts. Per department needs.
