Job Summary
The Inpatient Pharmacy Senior Technician I is responsible for maintaining stock inventory, processing, dispensing and delivering patient specific orders to assigned areas with timeliness and efficiency; replenishing automated medication dispensing cabinets; assisting in the training of newly hired technicians, interns and student learners, and supporting the department with a patient-centered approach. This position is eligible for a recruitment bonus. Additional details will be provided during the hiring process should your application be selected to move forward.

This position requires dependability and the ability to prioritize. The successful candidate must be reliable and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
Physical Requirements
This position requires use of a computer workstation, completion of tasks with repetitive motions, and occasional pushing, pulling, and/or lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds. This position may require personnel to wear personal protective equipment to reduce risk of exposure to work-related hazards (e.g. handling of hazardous medications).
Shift
1st shift (7:00 am – 7:00 pm or 7:00 am – 5:30 pm) Wednesday through Tuesday; 7 days on/7 days off.

Required Related Experience

Required License/Registration/Certification
Nationally certified Pharmacy Technician by either PTCB (PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT); Registered with the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire.
