Pharmacy Resident - PGY2
Position Summary
The PGY2 Pharmacy resident will receive focused training in a number of domains related to pharmacy practice - clinical service, hospital practice, teaching and education, research, drug policy development, and leadership. Training will be under the direct guidance and mentorship of pharmacists experienced in their area of practice. The overall goal of a PGY2 residency is for the resident to develop proficiency in the aforementioned domains, gain invaluable experience in the respective area of practice, and develop the requisite tools needed to be an independent and successful practitioner.

Education
Job Requirements:
- Must have PharmD from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy and completed a PGY1 Residency.
- MA Pharmacist license or eligible for licensure in MA
- Interest in and aptitude for advanced training in pharmacy
- Excellent English communication skills (oral and written)
- Knowledge and Skills: Ability to communicate effectively in formal and oral presentations. Excellent interpersonal skills are required to interact with staff and patients in a courteous and customer service manner. Proficient with standard Microsoft programs (i.e. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and web browsers. Ability and willingness to become proficient in additional healthcare related applications. Dedicated team player with the willingness and desire to learn and grow. Professional in conduct and appearance.
