PGY2 ID Pharmacy Resident (Pediatrics Focused)

About the role

The PGY2 ID Pharmacy Resident at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, in collaboration with Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, will receive advanced training in infectious diseases pharmacotherapy for a diverse range of pediatric patient populations, including those who are immunocompromised.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication therapy management to pediatric patients under the supervision of licensed pharmacists.
• Participate in antimicrobial stewardship programs and contribute to the development of evidence-based guidelines.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Contribute to research projects related to pediatric infectious diseases pharmacotherapy.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a pharmacist in the state of Tennessee.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited pharmacy residency program.
• Passing scores on the North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination (NAPLEX) and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification.

Qualifications

• Strong academic background in pharmacy.
• Experience with pediatric medications and pharmacotherapy.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Pay

$76,000.00 annually.
