Pharmacy Manager/Pharmacist in Charge

About the role

Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy department.

Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies.

Manage inventory and order medications and supplies as needed.

Provide clinical guidance and support to pharmacy staff.

Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness.

Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and potential drug interactions.

Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care.

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Stay updated on new medications, treatments, and industry developments.

Requirements

• Valid Pharmacist license in the state of Mississippi.
• Willing to get Pharmacist license in the state of Louisiana and Tennessee.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a licensed pharmacist.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in prescription verification.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient computer skills for medication order entry and record keeping.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
