Pharmacy Manager - Inpatient - Full Time Days - Southfield

Principles Duties & Responsibilities

• Develops and implements performance improvement activities, including medication safety, medication use evaluation, and Pharmacoeconomics.
• Conducts competency assessments and coordinates the training and development of pharmacists, pharmacy residents, and pharmacy students.
• Develops and manages departmental budget to promote Pharmacoeconomics.
• Serves on various committees.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy required.
• 3 years of hospital experience required.
• Compounding oversight experience preferred.
• USP797, USP 795 and USP 800 demonstration of compliance.
• Demonstration of increasing responsibility and oversight in past roles preferred.
• Advanced degree or Master's degree preferred.
• PGY1 Residency training or equivalent experience preferred.
• 2-3 years of leadership experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist credentialed from the Michigan Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Board certification in Oncology or Sterile Compounding preferred.
