Lead Pharmacy Technicians play a pivotal role in delivering compassionate care to millions of patients every day. They are responsible for triaging pharmacy tasks, balancing efficiency with accuracy, and ensuring all medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Promote health by engaging customers to learn about their health and medications
- Educate customers about CVS services and products, positioning CVS as a partner in customers' path to better health
- Follow applicable laws and regulations, maintaining patient confidentiality and complying with CVS policies and procedures
- Manage workflow procedures, coordinating and processing patient medication orders, and assisting the pharmacist with daily and weekly reports
- Resolve medication and insurance-related concerns, collaborating with various stakeholders
- Expand clinical and technical knowledge, contributing to a high-performing team and sharing best practices
- Support the training and development of support staff, providing performance feedback to the Pharmacy Manager
- Lead by example, setting a positive tone for the team and actively seeking opportunities to improve patient care and customer service
Requirements
- PTCB National Certification
