About the role

This position supports pharmacists in providing pharmaceutical care by preparing, labeling, and distributing medications while adhering to legal and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Obtain supplies and compound doses
• Manage inventory and maintain accurate records
• Train colleagues and pharmacy students
• Suggest procedural improvements to enhance efficiency
• Ensure timely and accurate medication delivery

Requirements

• Completion of a Board-approved pharmacy technician course or current enrollment in a professional pharmacy program
• Current registration as a pharmacy intern (if applicable)
• Knowledge of pharmacy regulations and terminology
• Proficiency in mathematical calculations related to pharmaceuticals
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
• Ability to work effectively in stressful situations
• Flexibility in work shifts

This is a non-management role reporting to a supervisor.
