About the role

This role supports pharmaceutical care by assisting pharmacists with drug preparation, distribution, and inventory management, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Obtain supplies and prepare and label medications
• Distribute drugs to patient areas
• Maintain accurate records of drug preparation and distribution
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory management
• Provide training to departmental staff as needed
• Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance

Requirements

• Completion of a Board of Pharmacy-approved pharmacy technician course or current enrollment in a pharmacy program
• Current registration as a pharmacy intern (where applicable)
