Pharmacy Intern PRN

Job Summary

Pharmacy interns assist and support pharmacists in various aspects of the medication use process in a patient-focused manner to promote the safe and effective use of medications.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications
• Provide patient education on medication use
• Participate in medication therapy reviews
• Support inventory management and ordering
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervising pharmacists

Required Qualifications

• Active registration as a pharmacy intern in the State of Florida
• Current enrollment in a College of Pharmacy
• Ability to obtain a level 2 AHCA clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Mandatory Education: Completion of mandatory coursework for pharmacy internships
• Preferred Education: Additional coursework or certifications relevant to pharmacy practice

• Mandatory Licenses and Certifications: Active registration as a pharmacy intern in the State of Florida
• Preferred Licenses and Certifications: Level 2 AHCA clearance
