About the role
This role is based on the first floor of Cleveland Clinic Marymount Hospital, a community-focused hospital with a unique patient population and a strong behavioral health presence. Interns will gain valuable exposure to psychiatric medications and personalized patient care, working closely with pharmacy technicians, pharmacists, nurses, providers, patients, and occasionally respiratory therapy.
Responsibilities
- Support carousel operations.
- Triage phone calls and nursing requests.
- Prepack medications.
- Return stock and manage inventory.
- Perform cycle counts.
- Assist with bedside and outpatient medication delivery programs.
- Provide drug information and education to medical staff and patients.
- Communicate with physicians and other clinicians as necessary to facilitate care.
Requirements
- Enrollment in an accredited College of Pharmacy Program meeting education requirements to qualify for an Intern License in the State of Ohio OR international pharmacy experience meeting the requirements to qualify for the Foreign Graduate Pharmacy Intern License.
- Current State Board of Pharmacy Intern License (PH/INT) before hire.
Qualifications
- Physical demands include ability to perform functions of the job while reaching and stretching, and manual dexterity sufficient to perform computer functions of job.
- Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Pay
- Minimum hourly: $23.00
- Maximum hourly: $23.00
