Pharmacy Intern - Grad

About the role

We are looking for a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply your pharmacy education in real-world settings, gain valuable experience, and prepare for a career as a Pharmacist.

Responsibilities

• Apply didactic learning from pharmacy school to real-world practice
• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation
• Support pharmacy teams to ensure smooth operations and patient satisfaction
• Learn and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Contribute to positive patient experiences through empathy and care
• Assist with immunizations and other patient health care services
• Support pharmacists and technicians in managing and improving patient health
• Comply with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical principles

Requirements

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and travel to different stores
• Attention to detail and focus
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Physical stamina to lift and move items

Qualifications

• Strong mathematical reasoning and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent customer service and team orientation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Preferred: 1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
• Ability to become immunization certified
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite

Pay

The typical pay range for this role is $19.75 - $42.00 per hour. This part-time position is eligible for a range of benefits and programs that support the physical, emotional, and financial well-being of colleagues.
