Pharmacy Intern

Position Overview A 3rd year Pharmacy Intern supports pharmacy teams by applying academic knowledge to real-world practice, gaining hands-on experience in pharmacy operations, patient care, and leadership under supervision. Responsibilities Assist in prescription filling, ensuring safety, accuracy, and timely serviceProvide compassionate customer interactions, including counseling and addressing medical questionsSupport inventory management and adhere to SOPs and legal requirementsParticipate in health services like immunizations and point-of-care testing, upon certificationContribute to a positive, inclusive team environment and demonstrate empathy and professionalismFollow all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure compliance and patient safetySupport operational tasks such as medication handling, and, where permitted, assist with immunization protocols Qualifications & Skills Enrolled in an ACPE-accredited pharmacy programPossess or actively pursuing intern and/or technician licensureStrong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skillsAttention to detail, ability to multitask, and physical capability to perform job dutiesFlexible and team-oriented with a growth mindset Additional Info Compensation ranges from $20.50 to $24.25 per hour Part-time role with benefits supporting well-being and professional development Receptive to travel within the market to meet business needs Focused on developing clinical and operational skills for future pharmacist responsibilities
