Pharmacy Intern

Role Overview

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you will support the pharmacy team under a licensed pharmacist's supervision, ensuring a safe and effective work environment while delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with patient safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and inventory management
• Support pharmacy operations including workflow management (excluding final prescription verification)
• Engage in patient care programs, demonstrating empathy and compassion
• Foster a team culture of caring, energy, and pride
• Provide excellent customer service and adhere to professional practice standards

Qualifications & Skills

• Enrolled or accepted into an ACPE-accredited pharmacy program
• 0-3 years relevant experience
• Valid or in-process intern/technician licensure
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, reaching, and standing for extended periods
• Proficiency in handling multiple tasks with precision and attention to detail
• Preferred: Immunization eligibility and Microsoft Office skills

Additional Requirements

• Regular attendance, including nights and weekends
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and perform visual and manual tasks
• Complete required training and obtain licensure as applicable
