Pharmacy Customer Service Associate

About the role

Step behind the counter as a pharmacy customer service associate, and each day presents an opportunity to build relationships and help customers find better health through innovative pharmacy solutions. Responsibilities

• Registers sales on assigned cash register, providing courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Aids the pharmacist in obtaining patient and drug information, processing prescriptions, and resolving customer issues.
• Engages customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Models and shares customer service best practices, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
• Processes customer purchases, handles returns, and ensures accurate record-keeping.
• Maintains counters and shelves, performs inventory checks, and assists with inventory management activities.
• Assists pharmacists in filling prescriptions, handling prescription errors, and reporting quality improvement issues.
• Supports the photo area by assisting with digital passport photos, poster prints, and promotional products.
• Manages web pick-up responsibilities, monitors orders, and delivers them to customers.
• Assists with store maintenance, ensuring a clean and orderly environment.

Requirements

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends.
• Basic computer skills.
• Prior work experience with Walgreens preferred.
• Good math skills for filling prescriptions accurately.
• Knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification preferred.
