Pharmacy Customer Service Associate

Responsibilities

• Registers sales on assigned cash register, providing courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Aids the pharmacist in obtaining patient and drug information, processing prescriptions, and resolving customer issues.
• Engages customers by greeting them, offering assistance, and recommending items for sale.
• Ensures counters and shelves are clean and well-m merchandised, taking inventory and maintaining records.
• Assists with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipments of pharmaceuticals.
• Handles telephone calls, processes claims, and performs clerical duties as assigned.
• Supports the photo area by assisting with digital passport photos, poster prints, and promotional products.
• Assists with external and internal store maintenance, ensuring a clean and orderly environment.
• Completes special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends.
• Experience in a retail environment preferred, especially with Walgreens.
• Good math and computer skills preferred.
• Prior PTCB certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
