Pharmacy Customer Associate- BioPlus Specialty Pharmacy

About the role

This position trains on site for 5 weeks. After training, associates may work virtually full-time, with the exception of required in-person sessions, providing flexibility and autonomy while supporting productivity and work-life integration.

Shift

Multiple shifts between 7:30 am and 7:00 pm.

Responsibilities

• Respond to basic customer questions via telephone and written correspondence regarding pharmacy retail and mail order prescriptions.
• Develop and maintain positive customer relations.
• Coordinate with internal functions to ensure customer requests are handled and resolved appropriately and in a timely manner.
• Interact with internal and external customers (including subscribers, providers, group or benefit administrators, physician offices, third party representatives, and other Blue Cross Plans) to provide claims, customer service, and/or membership support.
• Complete necessary research to provide proactive, thorough solutions.
• Display ownership of service requests, ensuring high-quality resolution and follow-through.
• Support and guide customers with their personal options and decisions, helping them become knowledgeable and confident about available technology, tools, and resources.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in an automated customer service environment; or any combination of education and experience providing an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences

• Specialty pharmacy experience preferred.
• Call center experience preferred.
• For URAC accredited areas, strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, problem-solving skills, facilitation skills, and analytical skills are expected.

Pay

The salary range for this position in Nevada is $16.89 to $25.33 per hour.
