Pharmacy Clerk

Thrifty White Pharmacy is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Clerk in Alexandria, MN to provide excellent customer service by completing sales transactions in a friendly, accurate, and timely manner. This role also involves maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy and work area, greeting customers, and offering assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to build loyalty and repeat business.
• Promote and enroll patients in Thrifty White programs such as Ready Refill, Medication Synchronization, and HealthyPackRx.
• Receive, unpack, and verify merchandise for accuracy and condition.
• Stock, clean, and sort pharmacy products.
• Maintain the health aids department.
• Adapt to new and changing technologies and work roles as needed.
• Assist anywhere in the store or nearby locations as required.
• Demonstrate good attendance and punctuality to fulfill essential job functions.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Willingness to stand for long periods and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
• Frequent use of hands, fingers, and arms to handle objects, tools, or controls.
• Ability to talk, hear, and reach with hands and arms.
• Good vision, including close, distance, peripheral, color, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
