Pharmacy Clerk

Thrifty White Pharmacy is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Clerk in Bagley, Minnesota to provide excellent customer service by completing sales transactions in a friendly, accurate, and timely manner. This role also involves maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy and work area, greeting customers, and offering assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to build loyalty and repeat business.
• Champion Thrifty White programs such as Ready Refill, Medication Synchronization, and HealthyPackRx, and assist with enrolling patients.
• Receive, unpack, and verify merchandise to ensure it is received in acceptable condition.
• Stock, clean, and sort pharmacy products.
• Maintain the health aids department.
• Learn and implement new and changing technologies on an ongoing basis.
• Maintain flexibility in new or changing work roles and adapt to modified job responsibilities as required.
• Assist anywhere in the store or nearby locations as needed.
• Demonstrate good attendance and punctuality to fulfill essential job functions.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Willingness to stand for long periods and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
• Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle or operate objects, tools, or controls, and to reach with hands and arms.
• Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to talk and hear.
