Dillons, based in Hutchinson, Kansas, merged with The Kroger Company in 1983. Today, we serve over 60 stores in Kansas. As part of the Kroger family, we focus on creating amazing experiences for our customers, communities, and each other, centered around food.

Responsibilities

• Comply with local, state, and federal regulations; report illegal activity
• Ensure compliance with and reinforcement of safety and sanitation regulations
• Create a welcoming environment for customers
• Maintain departmental standards including cleanliness and organization
• Manage computerized inventory and adhere to company guidelines
• Answer phones and triage calls
• Promote sales and services
• Handle vendor coupons and cash transactions
• Accurately and efficiently dispense products
• Support company health and wellness initiatives
• Work in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment
• Resolve conflicts in a non-confrontational manner
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Age 18 or older
• Previous comparable experience desirable
• Experience with customer service, registries, phone, and cashier operations
• Experience with inventory control in a retail environment
