Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Treat customers/employees fairly and ethically
- Create a safe, clean, and inclusive environment
- Operate responsibly within the community
- Offer the right products, services, and care at the right time with fair and accurate pricing
- Interact directly with patients to offer health and wellness services
- Support company health and wellness initiatives
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies
- Compound medications according to state regulations
- Perform post-fill audits to ensure prescription information matches computer records
- Support non-dispensing services using various platforms, resources, and applications
- Complete CLIA-waived screenings consistent with state and federal law
- Comply with and reinforce sanitation and safety regulations
- Report illegal activity to store management
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years of age
- Ability to handle highly confidential information
- Completion of national registration, certification, or licensure (desired)
- Previous comparable experience (desired)
- Any equivalent experience of a pharmacy technician
- Support company health and wellness initiatives
- Understand and adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies
- Maintain a current national and/or state registration, certification, or license (depending on state requirements)
- Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those requiring professional judgment
- Perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Qualifications
