PHARMACY/CERTIFIED TECH

Baker’s, now part of The Kroger Company, seeks a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to support our mission of helping people live healthier lives. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a safe and inclusive environment, and adhering to legal and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Support company health and wellness initiatives
• Understand and adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies
• Maintain a current national and/or state registration, certification, or license
• Aid the pharmacist in all responsibilities except those requiring professional judgment
• Provide a stellar customer experience, accurately and efficiently completing reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing
• Coach and train clerks and technicians
• Compound medications according to state and regulatory guidelines
• Perform post-fill audits to ensure prescription information matches records
• Support non-dispensing services using various platforms, resources, and applications
• Conduct CLIA-waived screenings consistent with state and federal law
• Comply with and reinforce sanitation and safety regulations
• Report illegal activity to store management
• Comply with local, state, and federal regulations

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years of age
• Completion of national registration, certification, or licensure desired
• Previous comparable experience preferred

Skills

Strong communication skills, attention to detail, ability to handle confidential information, and knowledge of state and federal regulations are essential.
