About the role
Dillons, based in Hutchinson, Kansas, merges with The Kroger Company in 1983. As part of the Kroger family, we aim to serve our customers across over 60 stores in Kansas. Our mission is to create amazing experiences for our customers, communities, and each other, centered around food.
Responsibilities
- Support company health and wellness initiatives
- Understand and adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies
- Maintain national/state registration, certification, or license as required
- Aid the pharmacist in all responsibilities except those requiring professional judgment
- Provide a stellar customer experience, accurately and efficiently completing reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing
- Coach and train clerks and technicians
- Compound medications according to state and regulatory guidelines
- Perform post-fill audits to verify prescription information
- Support non-dispensing services using various platforms, resources, and applications
- Complete CLIA-waived screenings consistent with state and federal law
- Comply with and reinforce sanitation and safety regulations
- Report illegal activity to store management
Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years of age
- Completion of national registration, certification, or licensure desired
- Previous comparable experience preferred
