Pharmacy Cashier

Customer Experience

• Greet customers and offer assistance with products and services.
• Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Model and share customer service best practices with all team members.
• Develop strong relationships with most valuable customers.
• Register customer purchases on assigned cash register, collect cash and distribute change as requested.
• Recommend items for sale to customers and recommend trade-up and/or companion items.
• Absorb and assist customers to the appropriate aisle when necessary.
• Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient prescription status.
• Report and adhere to prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty.
• Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records.
• Price merchandise as required or as directed by store manager or shift leader.
• Implement Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
• Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise.
• Complete resets and revisions as directed.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prior experience in a retail environment is preferred.
• Prior work experience with Walgreens is preferred.
