Responsibilities

• Verifies insurance eligibility
• Facilitates prior authorizations
• Collaborates with third-party payers and clinical offices
• Works with patients and providers to ensure access to medications
• Affords denial appeals and financial assistance through funding sources
• Audits hospital pharmacy billing
• Solves claim rejections
• Supports medical bill audits

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in a relevant field
• Registered Pharmacy Technician certification
• Two (2) years of experience in healthcare, retail, pharmacy, or billing
