Pharmacy Associate

Scope of Responsibilities

• Pulls drugs and matches NDC to prescription labels when filling prescriptions
• Checks and inspects incoming medication orders for accuracy
• Assists in inventory control and station replenishment
• Maintains and cleans each work station and the facility
• Contacts customers on outgoing express shipments and addresses verification requests
• Maintains quality assurance of all dispensings
• Affords assistance in orienting and training new employees
• Completes mandatory and regulatory training programs
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Must be able to work nights and weekends as required
• Must be available and on-time for scheduled work shifts

Education and Experience

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED
• Preferred: AS Degree or Higher in Business Administration or related field
• Preferred: Hospital or retail pharmacy experience

Compensation

$15.00 - $15.46 an hour. The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience, and education.
