Pharmacy Assistant
Responsibilities
- Accurately retrieve, count, measure, prepare, package, and label medications in accordance with prescriptions and facility requirements.
- Operate and properly maintain pharmacy equipment related to job duties, including the SynMed Ultra system.
- Assist with prescription filling activities, including order entry and insurance-related tasks, to support efficient pharmacy operations.
- Package prescriptions according to the specific requirements of facilities and individual patients, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Aid in maintaining and managing pharmacy supplies to support continuous and efficient workflow.
- Clean and assist in the maintenance of equipment and work areas to uphold safety, cleanliness, and regulatory standards.
- Aid in maintaining proper storage and security conditions for drug inventory to ensure compliance and medication integrity.
- Support IV compounding activities as needed, following appropriate procedures and safety protocols.
Requirements
Technician training certificate of completion from an accredited institution or college, or a signed certificate of completion from an employer, preferred.
Prior experience in a long-term care (LTC) pharmacy environment preferred.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
