Pharmacology Associate

Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Pharmacology Associate I to join an In Vivo Pharmacology team supporting metabolic disease research. This hands-on laboratory position will focus on conducting in vivo studies related to obesity and cardiovascular disease programs while working within a collaborative, cross-functional research environment.The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in animal research, a passion for scientific discovery, and a desire to develop within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry.This role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to drug discovery programs while gaining exposure to project teams and scientific strategy.Execute in vivo pharmacology studies in support of metabolic disease research programs.Perform rodent handling and support animal-based research activities in a vivarium environment.Assist with study execution, data collection, and experimental procedures.Conduct tissue collection and downstream tissue processing activities.Analyze and organize experimental data using standard scientific software tools.Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to support research objectives.Maintain accurate experimental records and documentation.Follow established laboratory, animal care, and safety procedures.Participate in team discussions and contribute to project advancement. Required Qualifications Bachelor's or master's degree in pharmacology, Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Animal Science, or a related scientific discipline.Hands-on experience conducting in vivo studies.Experience handling rodents and performing animal research procedures.Strong technical laboratory skills and willingness to learn new techniques.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Eager to learn and grow within a research-driven environment.Comfortable working in a highly collaborative, matrixed team structure.Self-motivated and capable of taking ownership of assigned responsibilities.Technically strong in animal research methodologies.Interested in long-term career development within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.Adaptable, dependable, and committed to high-quality scientific work. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting metabolic disease, obesity, cardiovascular disease, or related therapeutic areas.Prior pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or industry experience.Experience working in a vivarium environment.Familiarity with GraphPad Prism or similar scientific data analysis software.Experience supporting large-scale preclinical studies.Recent graduates with a master's degree in pharmacology and relevant in vivo experience are encouraged to apply.
