Pharmacist - Surgical Float

About the role

As part of the health care team, practices Pharmacy as a knowledge-based clinical profession, and integrates patient-oriented services with traditional distributive and drug control activities. Provides pharmaceutical services including drug information to nurses, physicians, and other health care providers. Advises the same with respect to drug interactions, contraindications and other relevant information to ensure optimal and safe drug therapy. Serves all patients to include, but not limited to, neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Surgical float pharmacist; will primarily staff inpatient in Lawrenceville, however will also float to outpatient in Lawrenceville and Braselton

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy

Preferred qualifications

• One (1) year of previous hospital pharmacy experience
• Experience in Surgery Pharmacy
• Good communication skills
