Pharmacist – Straight Evenings - Incentive Available
Duties
- Review prescriptions to assure accuracy, to ascertain the needed ingredients, and to evaluate their suitability.
- Provide information and advice regarding drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and proper medication storage.
- In a medical center or institutional setting, review and interpret provider orders, provide drug information, assist in problem solving, and provide other aspects of pharmaceutical care.
- May consist of unit dose dispensing, IV Admixtures, outpatient prescriptions, navigating the electronic medical record, compounding, and working with automated dispensing devices.
- Utilize appropriate age-related patient information to assess the pharmaceutical needs of patients, including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Follow all established regulations and standards that govern the practice of pharmacy.
- Act as a shift supervisor under direct or indirect supervision by department managers.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
- Thorough knowledge of drugs and their actions; knowledge of state and local regulations.
- Hospital experience or residency preferred.
- Licenses must be in good standing by the State Board of Pharmacy in state(s) of practice and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges as required by position.

Pay
Salary Range: $53.00 - $87.50
An additional 10% is given for individuals in this schedule!

Department Details
This position follows a 7-on/7-off evening schedule (Tuesday–Monday) and qualifies for the evening incentive.
