Pharmacist, PRN

About the role

We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist to provide direct patient care and support pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe medication use through drug therapy monitoring, order entry, and distribution.
• Evaluate prescriptions for safety, appropriateness, and efficacy across diverse patient populations.
• Provide patient education, care management, and create individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, participate in departmental committees, and support clinical initiatives.
• Oversee pharmacy support staff, verify tasks, and act as a liaison between pharmacy and patient care areas.
• Deliver clinical services, perform lab reviews, and document care activities.
• Train pharmacy technicians, students, and new team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy; PharmD preferred.
• Active or eligible pharmacist license within 4 months.
• Knowledge of pharmacy terminology, regulations, and aseptic techniques.
• Ability to handle urgent and stressful situations effectively.
