• Responsible for having a working knowledge of all areas of pharmaceutical services including drug distribution systems, central operations and IV admixture.
• Provide clinical support of the hospital pharmacy function in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain adequate drug supplies at the pharmacy at all times.
• Correctly inform and instruct patients on any drugs to be used after discharge.
• Develop and participate in new employee training and education programs.
• Participate in patient drug therapy monitoring.
• Promote an environment of continuous quality improvement.

Minimum Qualifications

• Successful completion of all educational requirements as mandated for state licensure.
• Current state licensure required.
• BLS if required by state.

Preferred Qualifications

• PharmD or BS Pharm plus advanced degree.
• Completion of hospital pharmacy residency.

Compensation: $71.00 per hour

Schedule: Per Diem/PRN/As Needed – rotating weekends
