Pharmacist - Oncology
- Provides high quality, cost-effective, patient-centered pharmacy services in various settings.
- Consults with health care practitioners to establish high quality patient drug therapy plans and outcomes.
- Maintains a cost-conscious attitude in the daily function of the pharmacy.
- Mixes IV additive solutions and chemotherapy using aseptic technique.
- Maintains cleanliness of self and work area.
- Performs other duties as requested.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Pharmacy with a bachelor of Science or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree.
- Pharmacist License (Oregon) within 3 months of hire.
- Oregon Outpatient Positions ONLY: Must be certified to prescribe self-administered hormonal contraception and other self-administered products as approved by the Oregon Board of Pharmacy.
Skills
- Knowledge of Kaiser Permanente pharmacy benefit structure.
- Contemporary working knowledge of Kaiser Permanente automated systems.
- Ability to communicate appropriate information regarding formulary and target drug alternatives.
- Ability to make informed, rational, and timely decisions.
