Pharmacist Manager

About the role

This position will manage a team of pharmacists, focusing on operational and human resources duties. The manager will collaborate with the health care team to ensure optimal drug therapy for patients and will work standard pharmacist shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage scheduling, time reporting, and other operational duties for the pharmacy team.
• Serve as the Pharmacist-In-Charge, ensuring the pharmacy operates in conformance with all pertinent laws and regulations.
• Supervise pharmacy personnel and oversee the distribution of drugs.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient care and maintain safety and regulatory standards.
• Develop, implement, and coordinate pharmacy programs and enhance existing services.
• Provide oversight and monitoring of clinical and operational pharmacy initiatives.
• Work pharmacist shifts when not performing management duties.

Requirements

• Completion of a two-year pharmacy residency program.
• Two years of work experience as a registered pharmacist.
• Two years of leadership experience in an HR or Operations capacity.
• Must be a Registered Pharmacist.

Pay

$135,000 – $140,000
