Pharmacist Intern PRN

About the Role

You will assist in the performance of daily pharmacy tasks including procurement, preparation, delivery, return, and restocking of medications. Additional responsibilities include:

• Participating in the formulary and inventory management process
• Preparing intravenous admixtures
• Facilitating customer service through communication with both internal staff and external customers
• Responsibility for and understanding the use of automated pharmacy equipment and software
• Participating and assisting with learning activities and other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Knowledge of general pharmacy practices and procedures
• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting within and outside of the department
• Enrolled in an accredited College of Pharmacy with a plan to graduate with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree within the next 3-4 years
