About the Role

Applies specialized knowledge for the purchasing, prescribing, assessing, preparing, dispensing, and monitoring of pharmaceutical, specialty pharmaceuticals, and investigational drugs used in the treatment of cancer and serious infections in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team in association with oncologists and infectious disease specialists. Provides oversight of support personnel and ensures the safe and effective management of high-cost agents in the treatment of high-risk patients using high-risk agents.
