Duty Statement
The Pharmacist I under the direction of the Pharmacy Services Manager or Pharmacist II, performs professional pharmaceutical work. Key responsibilities include:
- Prepares and dispenses drugs and medications.
- Reviews and transcribes patient charts and medications.
- Ensures proper handling and record keeping of drugs, poisons, and narcotics in accordance with Department policies, federal and State laws, and regulations.

This is a limited term position which may be extended or become permanent. The position is located at Substance Abuse Treatment Facility (SATF), in Corcoran, CA, located in Kings County.

- Prepares and dispenses drugs and medications.

Requirements
Requirements for this position include:
- A Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited college or university.
- Current California Pharmacy Practice Act license.
- One year of experience in a pharmacy setting.
